One of the recent Internet FADS is texts from dog! All it involves is people adding a contact in there phone called Dog and have a conversation via text! People then take a screenshot of the conversation and upload it to the Internet, normally Facebook and twitter! Again just like the majority of things on the Internet at the moment you are probably thinking it sounds stupid but these are surprisingly funny as its what you imagine a conversation like a dog would be.

Perez Hilton, a blogger, a man and above all a phenomenon! Perez Hilton writes a hot blog concerning celebrity gossip. Perez has even been named the number one Web celeb, 2007, 2008 and 2009 by the Forbes Magazine, talk about visibility there.. The blog was launched in 2004 and since than has become a one of the leading site for celebrity gossip and news with no less than a 300 million hits during one month. The blog has become an spectacular phenomenon, people are reading it, talking about it and addicted to it. Perez Hilton has payed visits to several popular TV-shows in the U.S and has also written two bestsellers, Perez Hilton's red carpet suicide and Perez Hilton's true bloggywood stories. A businessman is always a businessman.

#Music is Twitters venture into the music side of social media. The new app which was launched this week lets the user delve into the music that is popular on twitter and also what their friends are listening to.

The app lets you instantly listen to a song from the artist inside the app through your spotify, itunes or Rdio. The app has four parts to it. Firstly, the Twitter Charts, this is where the most popular music lives. However, in terms of discovering music, this part is useless as its looks like a rundown of the top 40. The emerging chart is much more useful for people looking to increase their musical knowledge which gives you a chart of new music based on who you follow on twitter. There is also a suggested tab but this is too similar to the emerging chart and therefore not as good. Also you can listen to tracks by artists you already follow in the final tab.

So what are Paddy's thoughts on this app. Well, the emerging chart is very good and the other tabs to serve a purpose. However, this is only as enjoyable with a Spotify subscription and therefore not everyone can use it. Will this be a new part of social media or will it just be another fad. We will just have to wait and see.

Meat cake by EPIC MEAL TIME

For all those how don't some how know, EPIC MEAL TIME is an Canadian YouTube cooking series show famous for cooking ridiculously unhealthy, meaty foods, basically always made from meat and bacon is the main star of the show. The show was born on October 2012 and it releases a show every Tuesday and it has millions of viewers every week. The shows popularity is based on the power of social media, as the crowd has been sharing these funny clips for a while now.

#Pray for Boston

A horrible tragedy located at Boston marathon on the 15th of April 2013 happened when a bomb was exploded close to the marathon. Horrible, horrible, horrible.

The reaction in the Internet followed the dreadful incidence only after couple of minutes after it had happened. A numerous amounts of photographs, videos and news started to spread in the social media channels, such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. On the 15th of April, the phrase "Boston marathon" was tweeted 2,910,316 times, can you believe that? At the moment, the #prayforboston reaches 1,051,372 photos posted on the behalf of people, all around the world in Instagram.

Memes are often born from silly and fun events, but this shows, that they are also a convention to bring crowds together after global tragedies.

So people, lets  #prayforboston!

Who's the Top Dog in terms of Blogs: POHTPOF

One thing this blog hasn't done yet is look at other blogs and admire their excellence. This is wrong and therefore, over the next few days, we will share with you lovely people what we think are the best blogs out there in the dangerous world of the Internet. We may even pick ourselves a winner and give them a virtual high five HUZZAH!

The first blog that Paddy stumbled upon this week was that of Pictures of Hipsters taking pictures of food. The concept for the blog is simple, we all hate the craze that hipsters have started, the one where they take pictures of every meal before eating it then posting it on the social media website of their choice. Well, this blog gets back at these rebels of society by taking pictures of them taking pictures of their food( WHERE IS THE XZIBIT MEME WHEN YOU NEED IT!). The blog idea is excellent and therefore is a very funny blog. I will post my favourite pictures from the blog followed by the link so you lovely people can have a look for yourselves
